I like the fact that this years show kind of veered away from BD's typical jazz shows. I felt there were more classical elements to the show that you usually don't see from them. Congratulations Blue Devils!

A few years ago at a show in Columbus, OH Jeff Fiedler came at sat down right next to me before The Cavaliers performed. I couldn't stop staring at the big ring on his finger with a huge green stone in the middle...haha

It seems like the Cadets love of amplification is catching on in the marching band world. My old high school marching band this year is having a vocalist sing for one of their songs. I personally think this is a bad idea, but it seems like amplification is slowly taking over drum corps.

There's a few podcasts on I-tunes that people regulerly update that you might want to check out.

I'd be interested in seeing a regional in the Pittsburgh, PA area, possibley at Heinz Field, the new home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's a great facility and would serve DCI well.

I thought the Madison scouts uniforms were really original this year and fit their overall theme very well.

Could you picture some kid buying one of their uniforms and wearing it to finals next year...hahaha He'd be a hit in the stands....or might get hit.

This year I drove 12 hrs. from West Virginia to attend finals in Madison. I'm very happy that they have decided on Indy since its much closer for me, but i do think that ten years is a long time for one location. I could understand 3 or 4 but I think ten is a bit much. One thing I would like to see with this move is maybe a DCI logo in the middle of the field or a champianship logo, because the big horseshoe was a bit annoying for me when I attended BOA finals in Indy.

My partying will take place in my Jeep on the way to Chicago....next stop...Madison! Enjoy some of those beverages for me.

I think it makes more sense having the Allentown shows earlier in the season, because here a week before finals I know I'm looking for a match-up against the corps in the running for the title. I know you can compare both the nights to get that kind of result but I want the suspense! I agree though that the main reason for it is the money.

Here's a question...why has Allentown always split up the top corps over two nights?
