Welcome to the entertainment industry people. Do you think shows "So You Think You Can Dance" got so popular by being sentimental to art of dance? It's the drama and the story that makes people wanna watch. I'm sorry to say but as much as you hate the message, the persona and the cockiness of the video, it's going to get more people interested in the activity. That means more support.

Well then maybe these kind of show will actually open your eyes to something new. The nice thing about modern drum corps is that it's integrating more elements on the field and elevating the activity to a new level. It's not just marching anymore. It's theater, it's a show, it's evolving. You say forced to do more accessible shows and it's funny to hear you say "the days of "Channel One Suite" are LONG gone" because what they did in the 80's was the "same old, same old". You had corps repeating shows 2 years in a row and the idea of forcing the modern drum corps to create something for the fans is a step backwards. The fans need to get off their high horse and drop their egos from what was their past. It's pretty cool to have that anticipation of all the possibilities these corps bring to the field every year,

Their description of the show is very poorly written. It feels like someones freshmen college paper where they try to use all big words in order to get a simple point across.

I think the worst part about people booing is the fact that most of those people are people who've marched somewhere before. They know how hard all the corps wok throughout the summer/season. No matter their taste in music, their opinion about difficulty or their 2 cents on design, they should appreciate what they have in front of them. This is not a sport where all members get paid to represent an organization. People like LeBron James get booed for failing to win a championship. We all know what kind of summer they have. Why take it to ugly level of competition? Complain all you want in these forums because it's really your place to vent... and frankly the judges don't really care about these rants people carry on here. They have the power to place each corps based on their professional opinion. It's our job to push the kids to their best with our applause.

I think people take BD's program and try to analyze the big things and can't get pass the props. But that's what makes their show hard is the manipulation of the field and the technique in changing their "stage". With all the things going on, they still know how to draw attention to highlights on the field. Yes there are parts where they stand still but at the same time, somewhere on the field, another section is jazz running creating texture on the field.

Great job BD!!! Sound amazing. Visually getting better.
