TCGC is a good circuit but 600 is ridiculous and to my knowledge nobody goes to more than 5 shows in the circuit anyways....so there is no need to limit show attendance and it makes the 600 seem even more inflated. It needs to be dependent on how many shows you go to. Also, TCGC has a WEALTH of units, they don't need to do 600 dollars just to ### kiss for judges. We get 2 wgi regionals, there isn't an extreme need to draw bigger named judges here. Plus if there is a need for better qualified judges the circuit needs to address that rather than going for the quick fix.

Pshaw. Totally isn't THAT dangerous. I used to have a habit of catching blade tosses a half count late which means the hilt would spin that extra half rotation and whap me on the hand (on sabre). I couldn't close my hand for a couple weeks. Haha. That's dangerous. I learned pretty fast to not do that. Never had a problem with rifle....

The second to last one about splitting a class into two divisions based on large and small group is kind of ridiculous. The proposer says colleges have an unfair advantage compared to the rest of A class. Thoughts? Anyone?

Martha Graham's technique is hardly even relevant in the day and age of contemporary style and neo-modern dance. How they heck SCV's guard is going to make that into a modern day aesthetic is going to be a huge undertaking. (blackwatch comes to mind from 2004....that show was powerful and had a great climax/ending)

I expect the same from every year. People are going to wonder why Crown isn't number 1, Bluecoats guard score will stall around mid July, BD will be tossing the highest and dancing the best, Crown will have the hardest flag book, and Cadets are going to be super crisp with their weapon technique.

These choreographers should branch out from WGI. And if they have I need to find their work! I think Mia has perhaps opened a door with the judges getting them used to the idea of different movement, which is great, but it's definitely the choreographers who walked through it. KUDOS. It wasn't directed towards you. It was directed towards the person who was above me who IS TYPING IN ALL CAPS ABOUT GUARDS NOT DOING WHATEVER WELL. Seems like you jumped on that train as well though so whatever. Strong dislikes from me yes, but when I voiced in opinion it's been with a more in depth reason why, just not OMG THEY DIDN'T DO THEM WELL. That's called trolling.

What's with all the Diamante dissing? I like them, they are pretty fresh. Their phrasing is so unique. Perhaps it is best to not say anything at all unless it is thought out......or at least constructive.
