  1. It's the part in BK '02 from 6:40-9:20 I believe, I don't know if the stuff after that is part of the same concerto. Edit correction: I'm pretty sure it's the whole second half of the show, from 6:40 to the end.
  2. Good old BK '93! I still think that like BK, many corps could pull off an awesome Star Trek Show. Everyone could be dressed in officer uniforms. The people that no one liked could be the redshirts. ;)
  3. If I had been eating something, it would be all over my screen right now, thanks for that bawker. You never fail to make me laugh. Amazing video by the way. I love how they're put together.
  4. The Godfather: Part Blue The Phenomenon of Cool Heroic Sketches Mood Swings A Journey Through the Sands
  5. Say, I wanted to donate to a corps, which I do, Do I just send the check to their main address on the DCI.org page? Or is there a better place to send it.
  6. Pioneer, I didn't like their show as much as the others.
  7. I sure did, lots of people at the Mills in Denver did! It was amazing.
  8. I didn't go last year, what time do you guys suggest showing up to get a relatively decent seat?
  9. Wow, that was really amazing! What a beautiful song. I love Phantom 2003.
  10. When I listen to the recording at 3:10 there is some sort of strange boom-boom-clank sound. Does anyone know what that was?
  11. Leadsop97 beat me to it, but much worse things have been said about previous corps.
  12. Only one right now Drums Along the Rockies, sadly the only one near me.
  13. Aussie: SCV, I love the look, it's amazingly inspiring Helmet: PR. Don't know why, I just like it. Shako: Cadets, It's classic.
  14. Sprit: Show just didn't seem up to par with the rest of them.
  15. Opener: SCV '99 Ballad: BK '00 Drum Solo: Cadets '00 Closer: PR '03
  16. You know, I used to be 100% against woodwinds, but lately, I've been turning around. I would go see DCI if there were woodwinds. If there were, it might even make it *gasp* possibly more exciting. Just because it's tradition doesn't mean that it has to stay that way. Nothing has stayed the same for hundreds of years. Should we still make cars with the rigid frame because that's how they used to make them. No. They make them safer. I completely agree with MikeD, this started decades ago, and it should be allowed to continue. I'm a brass player, and rather enjoy a good woodwind sound occasionally, there's nothing wrong with that.
  17. Well, I liked the old ones better overall, but I did love '00. I voted for old-school.
  18. What were the years that your favorite shows weren't in the top 3 for me definetely 1999: 5th, 6th, and 7th. I loved Glassmen's finale to their Gold trio, Madison's Jesus Christ Superstar, and Blue Knights with Trittico and their highest score ever. 2003: Phantom with Harmonic Journey, SCV with Pathways, I liked Crossmen in '03 too.
  19. So, I was just wondering what exercises do you guys do to hold up those rascally horns? I pretty much do pushups, curls, and just randomly hold up the horn.
