Lance
I really like positive threads, and since there's so much great stuff out there this year, here's another one. Okay, I'll give a few of my favorite musical snippets: Cadets: The bari/mello "blast" just before they hit the final chord in the opener. BK: The part in the closer where they build the chord. Crown: The chord. You know the one. BD: The first full exposure of the Vine theme in the closer... Lots more, but I want to hear others. bawker
Crown: The chord. You know the one. This. Additionally: -BD, when they hit the "swing" section of the opener. -Academy's "swing" in their 2nd part of their production (sensing a theme now... :) ) -Madison's ending "Kashmir" sop solos.. -Regiments DA-DA-DAAAA from the baritones in the Glass piece, right before the massive chord at the end of it...you know what I'm talkin' about. :)
Harmonious Cacophony
Off the top of my head... Crown: Long chord in opener; fanfare that starts Billy Tell Phantom: Last hit in "Airplanes;" last hit in Ballad Bluecoats: Contra runs in Hummingbird Cadets: First hit in opener
Officer_Jenny
Cadets: Double tounging in the opener and the transition between the backfield moment and the trumpet feature in part III. Blue Devils: The space chord and the percussion featurein the opener. Cavaliers: the trumpet solo and the front ensemble theme that happens a lot in the opener and other times in the show. Phantom: The familiar melody from Firebird and the sustained mello note at the end. Bluecoats: Contra lines in Hummingbird.
ouooga
I really like that one part Oh, and that other part, that's really cool too! And the best, like absolute best is the one that that one drum corps is playing!

Hrothgar15
Cavaliers- Trumpet/mello feature in the opener (with the sixteenths) Phantom Regiment- End of the opener Carolina Crown- The interlude between Red Pony and William Tell is just beautiful Santa Clara Vanguard- The push (I'm contemplating a "TAKE IT HOME!" during the silence before it at finals) Spirit- End of the opener (good God) Boston Crusaders- Fortissimo section of the ballad Colts- The push Blue Devils- What's left of Pegasus in the opener
chadwick
My favorite by far is the Carolina Crown chord in the opener that some of you have mentioned. But I am sad to say, that doesn't qualify....it may not be 5-15 seconds as the original poster qualified...it might be longer :P
