supersop
They did say "EAST"...I heard it from a member. He called me on the way to semi's and said that they had put it in earlier that day. :) NO THEY DIDN'T say EAST. Yeesh. Y'all are hearing things. I have relistened to it 15 times and it's a mere HUH. Nothing more.

hckymdgt
What's the point of saying "East"?
RickCogley
What's the point of saying "East"? There were chants during some of The Cadets past shows of "EAST!, EAST!, EAST!" Seems like it's a little jab. Then again, it may not have happened, heh? :P
GGarrett
well I heard they're putting in that "Chocolate Rain" dude to sing as a final kicker to their show. That's what I heard. Yup.
Tommeee
What's the point of saying "East"? In 1983, when Cadets first won DCIs, the crowd was loudly chanting "EAST, EAST, EAST" after the opening tune - Rocky Point Holiday. This was a reference to the Cadets being from the east, breaking somewhat of a stranglehold that corps from the west had prior to that. 3rd_Star_Brigade
If I would hire anyone to sing in a show, it'd be Boyz II Men! Hell yeah. You ever hear their version of Yesterday. That has drum corps written all over it.
