Literally nobody gave them a shot at winning anything, and some at even getting on the field after some turbulance and members leaving. Sunriser PRIDE, guts, determination and sheer butt-busting work turned them around. The young core group had something to prove to the doubters, and they darn sure DID it. The kids didn't quit and walk away, and with a few of the old folks stepping in to help that was all it took to show what Sun is all about. From dead last the previous 3(?) years to the World Championship. What can you say about something like that? A great new Board of Directors of veteran Sunrisers, a fantastic new instructional staff, and a dedicated core of young musicians. Unbeatable! Sun is back! Thanks to everyone that supported the corps this summer on the road back to becoming a champion! Sun Alumni, fans, other corps...all were great to us! Congrats to the entire "A" class field of corps for seriously raising the bar and helping to make the "A" class better than ever. The "A" corps may be smaller, but they all have BIG HEARTS! Congrats to all the open class corps as well on an amazing showing this year. A special congrats to the Bucs for another fantastic season! Enjoy the off season everyone! Stay well!
