Netty
It is a very good question and people who are rude about things and say its none of anyones business obviously forgot what it is like to get drum corps up and running. I think getting an understanding of a price range so corps do not get over charged is reasonable. The money that gets paid is worth it for the quality of music and the time and effort that gets put into arranging, teaching, etc. The bigger corps have more money to pay for more experienced trainers, arrangers, instructors, etc. THose people who are looking at this to obtain a part time job fee for doing a hobbie are the ones you have to watch out for. I do not think there is one corps out there who does not understand what goes into production whether for shows or parades it all takes time and talent. Good luck finding your answer Azeuph, many of us would like to know but are afraid to ask.
year1buick
I couldn't get it to come up. I kept getting religious organizations. Here's the link to Cadets: http://www.guidestar.org/pqShowGsReport.do...amp;npoId=50309
Zeke
I dont think it would be way far from the mark to think that top in Demand Brass Arrangers probably get up to at least 10k for arrangements?
CuriousMe
Here's the link to Cadets:http://www.guidestar.org/pqShowGsReport.do...amp;npoId=50309 That link is for YEA....so the docs cover both Crossman and Cadets as well as the admin and judging salaries for the USBA. GSNewell
Remember when looking at those Guidestar numbers that there is a difference between administrative salaries (director, bookkeeper, "permanent" employees) and the staff members who usually are contract positions. The total administrative salaries are fairly easy to find in those statements. Contract/instructional staff pay can show up in various places with various terminology.
