#2 also spent a year as DM of the Brigs...

I think that was part of the grooming process I spoke of. Think it had something to do with the brass instructor. Was it Corky??? Might have been Jack Papa and/or Joe Chizek that spoke about it. Memory a bit thin on all this.

This guy channeled Corky....not a bad model to follow. When you watched him conduct you could see the fabrizio image all over the place.

71 brigs is when I marched with him under hall of famer Dominic DelRa (creator of the mellophone bugle)

Actually Eddie... both men (Corky and Dominic DelRa) were mentored by the same man - Brad Longdo - their styles are similar

however... Corky in '71 had already gone over to Rochester Crusaders and We brought Dominic and the Albany crew into Brigadiers...

In the fall of '71, I left Brigs to rejoin Corky...

Anyone know who the DM was when Wink and Ralph Shur did the dancing cymbals act?

Jack Dobson and maybe Bill Carig (sp)

He was also DM of the Springfield Marksmen for a year - 1968 I believe ...
