NanciD
New page...gotta keep our newest feature close for those that aren't here daily.. Please Read Before You Post If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter) If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint. When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit... C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE?? Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere. Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to: The *Guess Who* Mailbox Thanx in advance! All that said and out of the way.. Guess Who # 465 ? Edited May 8, 2012 by NanciD
gsksun4
The Dream to me in those days was always a surprise. Whether I agreed with the results or not. Being young then, maybe I was just more impressed with crowd appeal than perfection. Edited May 8, 2012 by gsksun4

TennTux
While the BIG attraction was Rochester's "Super" Corps, the more interesting part of the show was the Juniors ... less than 9 tenths separated the top four - with Sac prevailing ... I didn't realize Reilly was that close to Rochester that day ... don't know if DCN ever showed a breakdown of the captions ... two weeks later Rochester clipped Hawthorne at Nats by 6 tenths ... would have been real interesting if the Crusaders showed up at DCA as an "unannounced" corps ... LOL ... Sunday August 8, 1965 Jersey City NJ The Dream STADIUM: Roosevelt Stadium Position Corps Score DIVISION Junior 1 Blessed Sacrament 84.206 2 Garfield Cadets 83.870 3 St. Kevin's Emerald Knights 83.433 4 St. Lucy's Cadets 83.353 5 St. Patrick's Cadets 78.100 DIVISION Senior 1 Hawthorne Caballeros 87.165 2 Rochester Crusaders 84.953 3 Reilly Raiders 82.866 4 Syracuse Brigadiers 78.240 5 Princemen 77.793 With Donna now marching in the Reilly Raiders (Alumni) Rifle Line I have a LOT of their Corps history to catch up on! (And that is a LOT of history!)

Even MORE "Interesting" would have been the Hawthorne Caballeros showing up in Connecticut for the show....... Elphaba WWW
