Dear Uncle Tony,

It's dark in this box...

It's cold in this post office...

I loved Europe... but

I froze to death in Mansfield, England - couldn't Eddie Reese have left a few feathers on or you have provided warmer clothes?

OMG when you told me I was meeting a Roman, I thought you meant Mr. Blenski... then, I got to Rome and outside the Colleseum some Roman Soldier tried to take my head off...

I got nervous In Kerkrade I thought Blue Coats were there then I realized they were REALLY booing... I thought they were yelling BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,,,,,

I'm very lonely and scared after being with all those strange old people in Rochester...

Uncle Tony... please get off your arse and get me out of captivity in your dang P.O. Box....

Love you all,

Freddie

Please Read Before You Post

If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)

If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint.

When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...

C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??

Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere.

Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:

The *Guess Who* Mailbox

Thanx in advance!

All that said and out of the way..

One @ a time, left to right, Guess Who # 473 ?

Guess Who # 473 ?

Ah yes, that ancient pose with the horn tucked in the arm pit. No doubt this picture was taken during the time mouthpieces weren’t shared. And the short pants, sign of the 60’s.

Let the clues begin………………………….

Is it a Keystone emblem?

A few strange things in this one. The guy on the left look like he's the leader of the BAND. Uniform doesn't seem to be from same organization as the guy on the right. Looks like no plume on guy on right also. Black shoes on right. Might mean upstate NY. Also, patches look to be different.

I'm thinking the guy on the left is all band and guy on right is drum corps and this might have been taken pre-parade with momma saying "Oh, you two look so sharp, let me get a picture".
