Renegade_fireman
This is going to be my favorite year in the corps...I can already tell. No hype needed. Really.
HUGADA
I wish that I can march this year just so I can wear the fadora! I love those hats and wish they would come back in style for the guys!

I wish that you can march so that we can be in the drum line together!!!
Hulka
Try this next time.Stage the hornline up front near the mics and put the drumline in the rear across the room. I am betting that you will get a better quality recording that way. Then you won't be able to hear the drumz. I hear the horns just fine, in fact, they're pretty flippin' loud! davland
We are happy to have you in the percussion section this year. Surprised, but happy. Surprised that she's in the percussion section or surprised that you are happy about it?
MarimbaManiac
...We could use a pitster or two, and a hot shot quad player. The Mission continues... That would be amazing. I just wanted to say that I had a great time this weekend, and I'm glad I dragged myself out of the Drum Corps retirement home to be a part of the Corps this season. I'm excited to see how the rest of the show shapes up! -Brian
Adam Jones
Then you won't be able to hear the drumz. I hear the horns just fine, in fact, they're pretty flippin' loud! Yeah... I was going to say the same thing. There is hardly any clarity (of sound coming from the drums) because of the gym and it sounds like the hornline was drowning us out. An outdoor recording would sound much better. But nontheless it gives you an idea of the opening statement. Aside from it sounding exciting and loud it is extremely fun and exciting to play. cartographer
Those are my upper arms. It's from doing chokes with the cymbals. I can't show the best one, it was a result of the insto-mastectomy I almost gave myself. Ah, totally makes sense. At first glance, marching cymbals looks so easy, but it's much more physical than one would suspect. It looks like fun, so best wishes to you. Maybe wearing chain mail can protect you in the meantime!
PhantomR
the soprano played that first bit, and for a second I forgot I was listening to anything, and I have ot be honest, I thought the world was ending. it scared the living #### out of me. sounded awesome though.
