I guess you're not inclined to lead by example, then?...

Yeah, my whole "nice" comment was sooooooo out of line. Shame on me.

Oh please, get down off the cross...

I simply pointed out that you didn't seem to be taking your own advice of "Sometimes it is probably better to just not say anything." It had nothing to do with the "niceness" of the post. Neither your prior post or mine were in any way condescending or ill-intentioned, but I found it a little ironic that your advice is to be quiet from time to time, but you felt compelled to post that advice publicly.

Think we can take the bickering into PMs, people?

Great...I just finished arranging a Sweeney Todd opener that sounds a lot like that. (Basically the opening credits with fun mello runs).

Now If anyone plays it it'll just be a "rip off" of Crown's show.

*grumble*

sounds nice, though....

What does it matter who gets excited about it? Why do they need to be sure as to how other people feel?

Sometimes it is probably better to just not say anything.

i know i'm a couple pages late, but honestly... i was practically floored when i read this.

txmystreaux, the person who takes every chance to belittle phantom regiment and anyone who enjoys them, is telling us that, indeed, sometimes it is better to just not say anything.

like i said. i was floored.

The chord progression about 1/3rd through reminds me of the resolve in Adagio for Strings.

Ah..... WOW! 16 freaking contras? Gotta love that! I think the only thing there hornline needed last year was more bottom voices... and I think they have taken care of that.

Go get'em Crown

How much is the price of a new Tuba/Contra? $6,000 or so each?
