The Maumee Demons are the only senior corps on the above list. The rest were all juniors.

The Demons' Legion Post sponsored a junior parade corps, the Maumee Suns. They grew up and became the Glass City Optimists, and eventually became the Glassmen.

No phone it says it has been changed.I wonder if the director is starting to feel the heat

I think it's over. Time to move in with a new board and have another go at it with fresh people. At least get the drum line going. It would be a start.

Sad day indeed.

I grew up at "The Hall" watching my brother and sisters march and when I was old enough I spent 7 great years as a Cadet. I was good enough to march in bigger, more successful corps when I marched in the 70's and 80's but could not imagine wearing another uniform. 7 years - 1 corps - no ring - no regrets.

The corps will be missed.

'Fat' Carl should take over the corps and restore it to it's glory days.

The strange thing is that the bingo was healthy it seems for a long time after the corps collapsed. Usually the money runs out first.
