oldbandguy
>>The Cavies guard has the masculine swagger and attitude<<No disrespect intended as those guys work their tails off each year to put a great product on the field . . . .but this just makes me laugh! GO SCOUTS !!! mynwa I don't think it's the Cavies guard that is getting the most laughs this year.

I notice that you suggested in a prior post that the audience in Louisville laughed when the Scouts guard took off their coats. Were you in attendance at the Louisville show? How many people laughed? Why did they laugh? I attended the Naperville show and I certainly did not hear any laughter. This sounds like a scurrilous claim to me. DCKMelloGal
I didn't hear laughter at the Ville...just saying...I thought when they did that, it fit the mood of the music rather well... GO SCOUTS!

BigBadMadMan
Can't wait to see the closer on Saturday. FN only unfortunately. I have a special place in my Heart for Dums Along The Rockies - that was the first show I ever attended - in 1979. Been hooked ever since. I think DATR in '96 was the last show on the OLD Mile-High Stadium. Talk about an amazing field!! 1 inch high grass that was meticulously manicured with almost a glass-like surface. One of the best surfaces I've ever marched on....and that includes that synthetic field turf stuff. Smooth, smooth, smooth! Perhaps second only to that pristine soccer field for the Montreal show...that thing was a work of art! BigBadMadMan
I always thought the same thing! I have never seen a natural surface that well prepared. Haha I know! I remember having a hard time concentrating on the show because the whole time I kept telling myself, "this can't be for real!" I can't imagine Denver being the "ideal" climate for natural grass THAT perfect, so I gotta tip my cap to that field crew...those guys definitely know what they are doing.
