donincardona
Those scores are surprising to say the least. Empire, what's going on? Much love for you guys! may be the run is over? the one caption they should do well in and they don't. can someone confirm the GE scores? i'm a little shocked. i understand they have guard problems. may be that really hurt them. stansea
Although all the corps' scores went up from last week, the Cabs have to be really happy with their 5.36 improvement in their score from last week. That was the single biggest gain of any score in Clifton tonight. Wiah I were going to be in Lewisburg for the re-match next week. Should be a good one! Lots of good news for the Cabs. They seem to have definitely slotted themselves as the top contender, they are "only" 3 points out AND they are still, after all...the Cabs! However there is the bad news. Not only are the Bucs once again winning every show, they are sweeping all captions (except guard). So this 3 point spread is not as close as it seems at the moment. It is however shaping up as quite a campaign for position in the rest of the pack. Hopefully I will get to actually see this years renditions when the circuit swings back to Pennsylvania. mikeyinsunnyflorida
Its so funny that no one acknowledges the great season the connecticut hurricanes are having. they've already beaten the cabs twice this year, tonight in clifton they bested the empire statesmen maybe for the first time ever, the hurcs colorguard is kickin' butt yet no "props" for the corps. Remember, 1981, the hurcs didnt win a single contest all season and won the DCA Prelims and then the 1981 DCA World Championship. Could this be another year like 1981 for the hurcs?? Anyway, GREAT JOB HURCS!! SOMF
EndzoneEric
Could this be another year like 1981 for the hurcs?? Probably not. Not to take anything away from an obviously great resurgence, but it ain't really all that likely that they're going to be the shocker of the year. From my friends on the east coast, it sounds like their guard could hold their own with several of the DCI teams. Kudos to the Hurcs! Cabsleadbari79
Mike The Hurc’s are doing a fine job this season and the guard right now is toping us all this season. But they have only beat the Cabs once this season. I just got home from the show and I have been going since 6 AM so I will thank everyone after practice Sunday night. Congrats to the Bucs But the real winners tonight were the fans they saw a heck of a show from top to bottom.
