Dylan Ford
Different judges, different night. Different scores, different placements. Cool. Gives both corps, and every corps for that matter, a reason to work that much harder and give the fans that much of a better show. Sounds good to me. nineiron
Seems like these two will go back and forth the rest of the season. That is good news for DCI.

Meaghatron
...they have one hell of a corps this year....By the way, Crown has a very good corps this year, and I congratulate them for their recent victories over the Cadets! The Cadets are great this year, but not as good as last year, IMO. The show isn't designed as well as '07. In regards to Crown, they are a great corps.... just with a very average show, right? emc2
I realize scoring variances are not uncommon from show to show but these just stood out like a sore thumb.Crown was ripped hard in two captions night to night while Cadets gained in others. Captions effected were visually oriented Crown -- Ocean Springs -- Visual Performance -- 17.50 Crown -- Lafeyette, LA -- Visual Performance -- 16.90 _______________________________________________ Minus .6 tenths Crown -- Ocean Springs -- Guard -- 18.40 Crown -- Lafeyette, LA -- Guard -- 17.70 ________________________________________________ Minus .7 tenths Crowns Total Drop for these two captions day to day was -- Minus 1.3 points Cadets picked up in two captions last night Cadets -- Ocean Springs -- Visual Ensemble -- 17.40 Cadets -- Lafeyette, LA -- Visual Ensemble -- 18.20 __________________________________________________ Pickup + .8 tenths Cadets -- Ocean Springs -- GE Visual -- 17.50 Cadets -- Lafeyette, LA GE Visual -- 18.20 __________________________________________________ Pickup + .7 tenths Cadets Total gain for these two captions was 1.5 points with these two in mind, Cadets had a .4 tenth edge in percussion last night Both show are good dci shows nothing to right home about they stand around a play no movement easy to judge. RobRoy
I'm just suprised by the size of the score swings. I was in Orlando and thought Crown might win, but suprised it was by half a point. And now such a big swing in the other direction. Different judges or the result of the full judging panel getting settled in? Or is it a new Cadets ending (and what is it?)
