Dave_G Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 I don't know what it is about 2008 so far, but it's shaping up to be just like 2007 in my book... a very competitive year with some of the best shows every done by the corps in DCI... yet at the end of it all I won't really care to go back and listen or watch any on a regular basis, not like I did for 2006, 2005, 2004, etc. I don't know what it is... maybe I'm crazy, but even as much as I love this year's Cavies show... I just don't see it every breaking into my regular rotation... I'll agree about the shows from 06, 05, 04, etc. but I really don't think this year is even as strong as 2007 was for me. It's a very competitive season but very few of the shows this year really are doing anything for me. Last year I liked prettymuch all the top 12 from top to bottom, this time around there are a bunch of shows that I like parts of, but only a few that really do it for me throughout.
