donincardona
great coverage. the best you have ever done.
kevingamin
High tempo opening with percussion, snares on brushes. Horns facing backfield, but not playing until they turn front. The horns change their facing to add a visual effect to the dynamics. Strong marching from the brass line, especially with a drill that is particularly demanding. Drums get another mini-feature before a sop/bari duet.
kevingamin
great coverage. the best you have ever done. To quote Homer Simpson: "The best coverage SO FAR!"
kevingamin
I'm seeing some great posture from the sopranos as they come across the front of the field. Everybody has the same horn angle, arm angle, and marches tall. They also play very clean, as well. Even during the drum break, I can't take my eyes off the drill because of this. kevingamin
Park and blow section. No overblowing in the horns. Great job!
kevingamin
So far, Fusion is the best Class A corps. Alliance will have to earn the title when they take the field. Second piece of the show, opens with pit percussion and a brass quartet.
kevingamin
Very nice sound from the low brass, dark and lush. Full horn line is back in for a bit before it's back to mellos and low brass.
JohnD
Another bit of housekeeping - we're not going to post photo images from tonight in the coverage. You'll find Charlie's shots from 'up top' next week in the DCP Photo Archives, along with all of the images from this Championship weekend. We'd prefer to make sure that everything goes smoothly with our video clips and getting the best possible coverage to you for Finals. Thanks.
