unless I miscounted in that video,.............you had less than 21 members, and could have competed in mini corps,.......................no?

Yes, but at the time that the decission was made NOT to go to DCA, there was no competitive classification or performance venue for said corps. To flip flop on that decission would only make those who left, because of the decission NOT to go, question even further whether or not to TRY again next year. It would have been nice to just decide to go, but the choice was taken out of our hands because of the 35 rule. And past the halfway point in the season we had to make a call, whether we wanted to or not. Part of the decission NOT to go to DCA was TO GO to Atlanta instead.

Had to bold the important bit, because you just proved that that situation was not, in fact, the case. The choice was made, and apparently, other options weren't considered, even when they became entirely viable.

Hell, if you had more than 22 members, then you could have potentially fielded two entirely competitive mini-corps, and that would have been one hell of a more efficient and effective protest of the 35-rule than all of the #####ing you've been doing on this website.

It wouldn't have been a flip-flop, it would have been a reasoned reaction to changed circumstances. But, of course, that's utterly and completely impossible at all in any way ever.

Boy what an Interesting idea. Two Mini Corps from one too small for field corps. Groups closer to 34 would be even better to do that.

Another idea that might be food for thought. Have an "IN CORPS" audition type thing and the Best 15 or 20 go on road once in a while as a Mini Corps. Might get others practicing more. At local events you might even have BOTH groups perform. (Full Corps and Mini Corps.)

Factor in an 11 minimum, $800+ fee for doing minicorps(per corps), a stage not big enough for 10 guard doing double flag work, transportation, and lodging. And I fail to see your point.

DCA Officials: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!!

The ONLY way to make Shadow 7's world all better is to allow any person or persons, with any instrumentation their God-given American freedom to do whatever they want on a football field, however they choose to do it, AND label it as part of the DCA product. That is, of course, as long as you are willing to pay them for it. Make sure you set aside EXTRA money for those corps who have to travel long distances. (Better yet, just pick everything up and move it to THEIR hometown!) Don't even wait for someone to submit a bid! You're the sanctioning body! This is what you're supposed to do with your free time! Oh, and be sure you cut back on the stipends you're already not getting so that you can dish out a few thousand dollars for the kinds of television and photography equipment they use to film fish underwater during tsunamis. That way, there's no chance he won't have a picture of himself drowning on artificial turf. I think that about covers it.

MOVE FAST THOUGH --- He probably wants to get into championships right away so he can end Reading's winning streak.

Oh wait, we may have another "rainstorm" come through. That would be your fault too...

Yea. Just what we need. Help MOVE DCA towards a more DCI venue.

As great as they(Star United) are. Excellence in Brass for sure.

PLEASE NO!

Oh boy, here we go again.

Well, how about our champions who have done some DCI tunes and even very similar (if not precise) drill copies from DCI corps?

It's time to stop throwing stones, and get behind DCA's year over year improvements and progress.
