VoC
I don't understand where the cadets are getting support for 2nd or 3rd when they weren't even in the same ballpark as the top 4. I mean, they weren't even in striking distance. I think the top 4 were right on
En929
they let winterguard fans have their own section at finals? No, I just personally thought (along with everybody else that was sitting by me) that Cavaliers should have won. Cavaliers had a solid show, it was cohesive, and from what I saw, was pretty flawless. No bias here, it's just what I thought. But then to our surprise Phantom won.

It might have been flawless, but I don't think the demand wasn't there. Especially musically.

The Cadets were not top 4 material this year, despite some lovely marching and playing at the end of their show. i can't trust anything else anyone who would assert otherwise would say, And Phantom in third? C'Mon, get real. The show was a complete hit.The Devils might have been close but there was noticeable dirt in the snare line, for starters. There was MUCH MORE noticeable dirt in Phantom's feet and drill cohesion.

SOP Dad
1.Blue Devils 2.Phantom 3.Cavaliers 4.Crown Spartacus was one of my favorite alltime shows and was certainly the fan favorite.....but my opinion, BD was more demanding and should have won. Mahler8
yeah, but then again, phantoms hornline was in tune. No more so than a few other lines. They really didn't play much better in tune than BD (maybe a little bit), but they didn't play as well in tune as Crown or The Cavaliers. silvertrombone
I was wondering how many of you were at the 2008 DCI Finals? I was there, and I was wondering after seeing the performance, who thought that the top 4 should have ran down as follows:1. Phantom Regiment 2. Blue Devils 3. Cavaliers 4. Carolina Crown Gotcha covered there...looked like a mis-type to me. BTW, OP, are you a troll???
