UNTdrummer11 Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 2008 (first time to see phantom live and oh it was memorable. saw it many times throughout the summer. drum book was nutz!!) 2003 (the music was so intense!! paul's first year at pr, drum book was rockin) 2005 (loved the music!! fit them sooo well. i think it deserved 2nd) 2007 (drum book was amaaaaaazing! one of my favorite of all time. suggestion diabolique was really good!!!) 2006 (great show concept) 2004 (it was cool. not too memorable, but good) 2001 (opening hit was great! cant remember much after that) 2002 (the opener was a great piece. i forgot the name of it though lol) 2000 (cant really remember it) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Buick Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 1. 2008 - I fell in love with this show just by seeing the pieces they chose, and it only got better as the summer progressed 2. 2006 - What's not to love about a great story told great, and one of the most beautifully played ballads this decade. And the euph sound was to die for 3. 2004 - Underrated, very intriguing show with nice melodies 4. 2005 - I loved the drill for this show, and the music was stellar, wished they placed above Cavies that year. 5. 2003 - I wouldn't say this show is over-hyped, but out of this decade Phantom has had so many better shows 6. 2001 - Shostakovich 7. 2002 - Liked the pieces, wish the drill was written better and overall was performed better. 8. 2000 - only seen this show a couple times, I think I'll rewatch it and maybe edit my answers accordingly.. Very un-phantom, yet still classic 2004 - Alot like 05 in the reasons I liked it 2000 - Very very interesting music, loved it. 2003 - So much emotion and such a great show 2008 - Yep, most put this at the top, but it just didn't do it for me 2001, 2002 - haven't seen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just wish I could have seen it live at the end of the season. 2006 - I said they would never top this show....I was wrong. 2003 - Musically, one of my favorite shows of all time. 2005 - Different from your other Phantom shows, but I loved it, and have a lot of fun watching this one. 2007 - I was a little let down at first by this show, but then it grew on me by the end of the season. 2001 - Good musical selections. 2004 - This show got stuck between two amazing shows with 03 and 05, this one just didn't do it for me as much. 2002 - Good show, just not among my favorite. 2000 - I don't really remember too much about this show.
