Mistress Kelli
Hopefully you don't do Yoga while playing the trumpet - you might go blind.

84BDsop
Uh oh....someone better tell all those screaming BD/Madison/etc sop soloists over the years!! Kinda glad I have no range now...my eyes are in bad enough shape!! In a serious note, this issue came up with 2 Dream members over the years...I suspect the effect is worse as you get older. doyle079
rubbing your eyes causes glaucoma and shortsidedness, and so does trumpet and swimming? my eyes started going bad 2 years before i started playing trumpet, in 2nd grade, i think heredity has more to do with it than just having rubbing or playing a high note. crazie aussies edit: so in a remake of christmas story, do you think he could ask for a trumpet and his mom would tell him "you could put an eye out with that thing?" ravedodger
True story--when I played a lot for a living and played in the extreme register on trumpet, I would have two black eyes and occasional headaches. I'm not surprised at all with the findings.
