bawker
. . .yeah, that just came on my playlist. I hadn't listened to this show in AGES. It's a sore reminder of how much we need Chuck Naffier back in drum corps in some way, shape or form. . .he's right up there along with Boerma, Bocook, Klesch and Shaw. Great books from his time at Colts too (1993 was on my iPod playlist earlier today). Just putting that out there. I think I've listened to "Heat Of The Day" about ten times in a row now . . . that ending is BALLS awesome.
Jeff Ream
great tune, great arrangement. would love to hear what Thurston could have done with that with the 90-92 lines

AverageJoe
I have always been a fan of the Beddis/Ancona arangment. No desire to hear what Mark would have done with it. The 2002 show kind of went down hill after the opener. Good start though.

festive
I had the original track come up on my ipod a week ago and I thought how much I wish it could've sounded more like Crossmen. Chuck's HOTD is a drum corps CLASSIC, IMO. I can remember quite fondly my jaw hitting the ground when I saw it live. LOVED IT! Where is Chuck, anyway? ictrumpet
That's funny I was just listening to this show earlier today and was thinking the same thing. '02 and '00 are definitely my favorite Bones shows...followed closely by '92 and '97 of course.
