Matt_S
Matt S.Without even seeing or hearing any corps entire show on or off the field, how do you come to these conclusions about how each corps shows will shake out?? Just curious Oh, I'd say I do it about the same as everyone else who's posted in this 151-reply thread; I just took the time to explain what I was thinking when I made my list. I'll be wrong about just about everything, that's the only promise I know I can keep, but at least prediction threads give us something fun to read and talk about while we wait for the season. doyle079
what if the typical 8-12th arent there this year and are replaced by the guys that are always right on the edge of 12th? so: 8)Madison 9)Spirit 10)Colts 11)Crossmen 12)Glassmen instead of: 8)BK 9)Boston 10)Blue Stars (even tho they arent "typical" in 8-12 spot) 11)Madison 12)Crossmen (understand?) it would a break from the norm. but bring on the intensity that there was last year. it probably made all the shows that much better when each corps knew if they didnt bring their "A" game every night, they could be in the stands instead of on the field on saturday night
JayM
What good am I in this thread if I'm not posting predictions? Not much, so here I go: 1. Cavaliers 2. BD 3. Cadets 4. Phantom 5. Crown 6. SCV 7. Blue Stars 8. Bluecoats 9. BK 10. Crossmen 11. Boston 12. Madison I'll fill in my logic later on today.
corps-mudgeon
Matt S.Without even seeing or hearing any corps entire show on or off the field, how do you come to these conclusions about how each corps shows will shake out?? Just curious You have nearly 1,000 posts on DCP and you have to ask this question? Which prediction didn't you like? Why did you single Matt out at post 141 instead of one of the many predictions before him, none of whom have any more information than Matt? Just curious. DeltaBugles
I think the Cadets coming into first this year isn't as set in stone as you guys believe. Remember, this is the year that all of Hoppies new and cool rules come into play such as micing specific hornline members and incorporating the use of WATER into the shows program... I think we'll see a WHOOOLE new side of that little Brain inside George's head.
Brett
1. Cavaliers 2. Blue Devils 3. Holy Name Garfield Cadets of BC. (they should try to think of a longer title of their show, to make this score announcement as excessive as possible) 4. Phantom Regiment 5. Bluecoats 6. Santa Clara Vanguard 7. Carolina Crown 8. Madison Scouts 9. Blue Stars 10. Colts 11. Troopers. 12. Jersey Surf More of a wishlist then a prediction...
