VOReason
okay,,, here's one...the average back of any given drum line member is bad enough to neccisitate this: but it works well.. except for ruts and railroad tracks... It also serves the dual purpose of enabling the snares to maintain a straight line!!
Ray Priester
First time I saw "United" was in Missasaugua (sp.?), Ont., in late '90s. They did a top rate exhibition. I was fascinated by the snare line, pushing their rubber tired rack around the field. Always wondered whose idea that was... Maybe if SKY Alumni had one we'd still have Andy Lisko and Ray Priester in the line... sure would be cool to see 22 snares pushing one around, eh? Bill Moore I don't think I'm ready or willing to give up my 'keep the beer cold' duties while the corps is doing the parade. With this crew, it's a very important duty, not to mention much easier on the lower back. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. LOL Ray

Jeff Ream
It also serves the dual purpose of enabling the snares to maintain a straight line!! impossible. snares would find a way to get it wrong

Tommy T-Bird
T-birds were doing a parade and our drum major's teeth flew out onto the street in the reviewing area. Too funny... Funny????? OMG, Try hysterical!!! Mary and I were right in front of him and I, being in total shock, missed stepping off and ended up with Joe's snare in my Arse. That is a moment I will NEVER forget! Mark Time... Flop! In one swift motion the teeth came out, he caught them and shoved them right back in his mouth. Hardly missed a beat...unlike the rest of us! hehehe Oh, this is Shelly again....I hate logging of then back on for ONE comment! JohnZ
Maybe Gold Bond will put out a denture cream? I think that would be quite embarassing and uncomfortable if you got the applications all mixed up.
