I'll go for the obscurities:

75 GBV--"City of Brass"

75 Precisionnaires--"Spain"

76 Kilts--"Linus and Lucy"

78 Garfield--"Pieces of Dreams"

78 SofA--"Higher and Higher" turn up the mixer on the middle voices, though

79 BD--"Chicago III Suite" turn down everything on the mixer but Gary Gilroy on the marimba

Northstars: Midnight Cowboy(because no one else did it and some of the judges said that Northstars did a great renditon of it on the tapes)

thats enough i guess, i could keep going but, i think you all get the picture!

I could be mistaken, but didn't Blue Rock do "Midnight Cowboy" for concert back in the late 60s/early 70s???

Jimbalaya - some help here!

What frack? There was no frack in La Fiesta....you're confusing that with The Frack in 89....and yes, I would LOVE to hear the 84 chart from the audience POV!

I think that prior to The Frack, I thought that the BD soloists were truly incapable of anything less than perfection. As "flawed" a moment as that was, it "humanized" this otherwise perfect machine for many of us.

And you can't blame this fellow for getting his years wrong, Sam. He's a Llama. He may just need a bit of grazing to raise his blood sugar. :-)

Cheers!

There were fracks of varying levels prior to 89....but The Frack is in a class of it's own!
