Talk about throwing good money after bad with the Coulson money...Donny was saying (if I read it correctly) he'd pay nothing anyday to hear me play...a fine deal at twice the price if I do say so myself!

Maybe instead of "Struttah" you should be "Playah"

A Playah that folks would gladly pay nothing, or even twice that, to hear...

Quite a legacy...

When/where is your next rehearsal? (I'm off the horn for a couple of weeks following cataract surgery, but back to twice a days in mid July.)

Today at 5pm at Newman Associates in the Shawmut Industrial Park in Canton, MA.

I wish I didn' think that was intentional - telling me when rehearsal was after it was too late to go...

If I didn't know better...

Anyhow, can't play yet - when's the next time?

Same locale weather permitting this coming Tues, Thurs @ 8pm and Sun @ 5pm.

PM me your email address and I'll put you on the mailing list.

Holy Crap!!! You practice thrice a week!

OK, pod person... what have you done with the real John Moran.

I better send you my email soon, as someone has posted that DCP is going down the tubes on another thread - and seeing as i believe everything anyone writes on the internet, I figure we have about a week left, more or less.

I hope no one writes that drum corps is going down the tubes too.

I'd really miss it.

We pratically never rehearse this often but we have a performance coming up in less than two weeks so...after next week we'll be back to a few times in August and once a month after DCA, never fear.

I know what you're saying about possibly being a pod person though...I haven't insulted you in like three posts!!!

Maybe you

a) finally recognized my superior status.

b) feel sorry for me due to my advanced years.

c) barely remember who the hell I am.

d) are too busy for insult because you're committed to three rehearsals a week.

e) now recognize that I was right all along.

I'm guessing b or c...perhaps d.

I would like to invite each of you to come and enjoy Gulf Coast Sound this year at the minicorps competition in Rochester. We will be playing our show entitled "The Music You Didn't See the First Time"

Rochester 2006. A drum corps is on the field, 10 judges ready themselves to evaluate, 7 hearty souls fill the stands and one guy, from the south Atlantic region named Ernesto landed right on top of us. We enjoyed the music of that showed but there wasn't anyone there to see it. so we have brought it back from the beyond:

Hazy Shade of Winter

China Grove

Unchained Melody

La La Song

It's fun, it's in your face, and we have a blast playing it. Hope you enjoy the show.
