We are only getting scored by DCA judges this year, all DCI performances by MCL are exhibition. Pay absolutely no attention to that score on DCI.org, it means absolutely, positively nothing. look you got judged. if there were judges on the field and they put down a score then you got a score. you can't pick and choose what scores your going to accept. c'mon get real. We were not supposed to get a score tonight and did a few things that would have severely hindered us if we thought we were getting scored. I'm sure the muckity-mucks will get this straightened out. We are not accepting an OFFICIAL score until Aug.1. I wish we'd done that with Valdosta... the judges certainly didn't know we were being judged until a few minutes prior to starting anyways. That's out of line. Even if DCI judges did issue that score, I doubt they had DCA sheets anyway for what was to be an exhibition. So work in the usual DCI/DCA curve on the score (10 to 12 points) then realistically MCL is sitting on a 76-78. Regardless, take their word for it respectfully and have another look on Aug 1st. If the guys are wrong, they'll own up to it honorably. If they are right, they'll come back to this thread for your apology. Fair enough?
