This was my favorite Bucs show since 2009. Lots of great tunes all twisted up like crazy! Can't wait to see what they come up with next year.

Same spot, Stadium is rebuilt. Statlers is still there, probably full of drum corps staff right now. (Most DCA kids are too young to get in!)

Surprised it's been relatively quiet here for the Thursday before Championship weekend, especially since we have some wide open races. Guess everyone is too busy rehearsing to bother being on here. It's gonna be weird seeing prelims in the morning again. I used the hate going on in the early am back when I marched. I'm with all the Capt. Obvious's. It's gonna be a close one, probably with some surprises. Here's my best guess... Bucs Cabs Fusion MB C2 CV Bush Gold Sun Alliance Hope everyone has their best show of the year and leaves no doubt that they all gave the fans their best effort.

You may want to loan your Less Metropolitan hat to the DCA History exhibit. They may not be represented there very much. I miss that corps. They brought a lot of excitement to the circuit. Kind of like a comet, though, like most of the French Canadian corps over the years.

Spent most of the day between the boardwalk and the show site watching corps rehearsals. Saw some pretty interesting stuff on the boardwalk involving two shirtless men in Lycra pants. The rehearsals were pretty good too. Not having seen Fusion & Windsor yet, I will go out on a limb and guess. Bucs Cabs Fusion Windsor Scores and spreads? Who knows. I don't think it will be a blowout, but I don't think it will be as tight for the top spit as some on here seem to think.

I wonder if there is any chance of having The Company AND the Scouts come to DCA in the same year? It would be great to see this happen along with a visit from the Inspires. then we would truly have a World Championship on our hands.

Ok, maybe it is a little early, but does anyone see any major changes for 2013? Anyone new going to break into the Top 5. Any new or retruning finalists? I'll go first. I see Bush making some great off season moves and wouldn't be surprised to see them make a Top 5 run. I see C2 continuing to grow and solidifying their hard fought 5th place finish, maybe as high as 3rd. I see Cabs making things even more exciting by tightening up the Top 3 with Minnesota and Reading I see Kilties back in finals this year. Ok, your turn.....

Do they still do the Traffic Jam? Always loved that one. No one plays like those guys used to any more.

That's a shame, but Oktoberfest sounds like a great time for drum corps too!

There should be a Battle of the Eras on the DCA fan network like they did in the theaters for DCI through the years. I would love to see some of these corps go "head to head", even if it is on old video.

I would love to see video from regular season shows offered on the Fan Network, even if it was relatively low tech.... one good camera on top of the pressbox with a decent microphone would be fine. It would be nice to see corps from other regions in the mid season.
