t_mac1011
Honest question here. How do they normally line up? well as of the stanford show the repertoire is beating their achievement and performance captions. This causes worry and makes me think that this book may cause them to suffer in the long run. But they may peak at the right time who knows. Their Brass scores iare also below their guard scores. (that is not so out of the question) And the drum score s the lowest. This is a bad trend that has been passed on from their last years 5th place finish I believe. That design team is incredible and often dedicate whole weeks out of the season to make changes. Albeit, this show is much different than past years... I bet they're somewhat struggling with the new approach. But they'll get it!

That's why I'm not too worried. It won't take much tinkering to get the show going on all cylinders.
oldbandguy
And the drum score s the lowest. This is a bad trend that has been passed on from their last years 5th place finish I believe. It may be the lowest, BUT the 15.9 they received tonight IS the highest drum score in DCI so far this year. (Along with Phantom.) That ain't bad...but I'm not sure how long it will stay at the top. There are some HOT drumlines this year, but so far they are showing up fine with some of the other great lines. (like Bluecoats)

I hate it that BD's line moves around doing all sorts of body stuff and they get no credit for it. Have you seen the other drum lines. They STAND STILL AND PLAY. and it drives me nuts. When I saw BD 07 I though OMG that was awesome. And now I see groups like CAvies and Cadets that just stand there and they get scored equally. I Think that sucks.
