MN DCI Fan
Back in MY day, we didn't have the "interwebs." We stood on our roofs and yelled scores from house to house until we knew who won, AND WE LIKED IT! And we didn't have "computers." We have empty cereal boxes with little elves, who ran back and forth calculating scores with their mini-abacuses. And instead of moniitors we had thin sheets of cellophane and candles. AND WE LIKED IT!
CrunchyTenor
They should at least give you your original number back. That would be cool. My CrunchyTenor name is my second, too. Don't remember my original number...or original name! By the way, this is the ONLY forum that I must sign back onto at least every 4 minutes or so. I'm on other forums that I've never had to log back onto in years. Yes, I have "remember me" checked. I never had that problem until I got a new laptop with Vista installed. I don't recall having that problem with XP, and I don't have it with the MacBook, either. Is this some super secret setting to try and get rid of me ? He's on to you, guys! We Wenna be dunta ( or however it's spelled) Hmmmm...the only time I have to log back in is when i get a new IP number (different Wifi spots as I go from school to coffee shop, etc on my laptop during the day). I have Vista Ultimate....so, it's not that. Edited July 24, 2009 by CuriousMe
skajerk
*sigh* I remember when Jeff had under 100,000 posts. Those were the days! Edited July 24, 2009 by skajerk
Carl306
I still don't understand how you can accumulate 100,000+ posts in 7 years, even with the OT forums and the random threads they have in that one.
skajerk
There was also a political forum for a long time that was taken off the air a while back. You also must not know Jeff very well. Edited July 24, 2009 by skajerk
