3rd_Star_Brigade
B flats are tubas, G horns are contras. Tubas are verticle instruments in Bbb or C. Marching Tubas that are Sousaphones are Sousaphones or Tubas. Convertibles are tubas. Marching horns designed with valves, rotors, pistons, keyed in whatever but pitched in the lower register are basses or (as not to be confused with bass drums) contrabasses or contras for short. I hate the #### Bb vs. G debate on contras as much as I hate it on sops. They are called their register range like choir voices. Who cares about the key? Really. KeepOnFoodTruckin
Meaning no offense...just curious. Does the Blue Knights staff spend some time focusing on I & E?
CoHmempho04
They were super-hard from 2001 through this year. Ordinals broke the tie. No longer. That sucks! Sorry for the misinformation Dudes and Dudets.

VoC
the reverted back to allowing ties for first just this year previously...since 2001 ties were virtually impossible for 1st place only. It was still semi-normal to have a tie for any other position
