jthomas666
As far as opening statements go, when you listen to 96 Regiment and realize that the opening statement is a contra soli, you know you're in for a bad-azz ride.
bluecoats88
84 crossmen...I just really dig those long, silver flags... I was thinking the same thing. the hit and the flags coming out of the block made a beutiful opening statement. also BD 1988 was very elegant with the soft intro and the guard dancing with and releasing the white balloons. And 1985 VK when they shot the whole horn line during Peter Gunn intro.
blueorginal
I just remembered, 1975 Toronto Optimist Trolley off the line was loud, ballsy and got your attention
G-Rott
Freelancers....whatever the year it was that they sang the very beginning of their show...then the hornline gradually comes in...amazing...at least for me.

That was 1985...a nice show....definitely underrated....more people probably remember the uniforms than the show itself.

stickman882002
I'm rather fond of 2005 Capital Regiment. Evil, creepy, and loud. Loved the music that year.

wesleyrp
Here's some of mine: SCV- 98- Music sounded like a evil martian space ship was landing... BK- '03- Kaval Sviri, 'nough said.... Bad A@# intro!!! Crown- '07- through the big hit.... Cavies- 95- Please do the Planets again, pretty please with an Alien on top??? Star '91- Those sopranos at the beginning have the darkest sound I have ever heard... BD 89- Yeah the whole opener was hot, but the first minute was vintage BD...
