beachdude
Curious to see how Howard Hanson's stuff will translate to the field. Has a corps ever done his music? And considering Hanson is a Nebraska native, I'll add the complimentary Go Big Red
soccerguy315
I'm sure there will be electronics, just like in every other corps.
kickhaltsforlife
Sounds like it has potential to be awesome!!
fifer
Curious to see how Howard Hanson's stuff will translate to the field. Has a corps ever done his music? Per corpsreps site: Children's Dance from Merry Mount Suite -1972 Cadets -1977 Seneca Optimists -1980 Blue Stars -1996 Boston -1999 Lone Star -1999 SCV Cadets (listed as doing the Suite not just the Dance) Symphony #2 (Romantic) -1985 Boston -2002 SCV Edit: Also per corpsreps, this will be the first time that The Cadets play anything by Rimsky-Korsakov Edited October 6, 2009 by fifer
Chris McDowell
In 2002, Symphony #2 was done by the Vanguard, not the cadet corps.

dbc03
Hold the course, Hop. No piano, no singing, no vocals...no electronics necessary. All will be good.Move fast, play well. Remember the sounds of the crowd cheering wildly last year? That can all be yours again. Last year they used piano, vocals, and electonics... so your argument is kinda falling apart
kstein
Last year they used piano, vocals, and electonics... so your argument is kinda falling apart Not an argument at all. Simply a plea for him to see the "rightness" of so many of his choices last year (and the results which followed), and encouraging him to continue to follow that path and simplify things and return the corps to their roots. Good music from good composers is a good start. See how this goes?

Gotcha
