Jaminbenb
As long as I get a set of BONGOS I'll be for it! (I think I can replicate my bongo solo! hahahaha!!) funny story i remembered today from the Alumni show planning meeting:"we need a slower tune...Icarus anyone?" Dave Rohrer " sure if you want all the 80's guys to quit" :P <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Jeff Ream
well it's off the map for this year, but we'll keep you in mind for next year....providing the 80's horn guys dont wanna bail. someone this winter said "please dont play Sicarus"
drumzx
Yeah, that was a fun show! hard to believe those "kids" were playing on THAT level at that age! (in those days mind you!)I remember some of the outdoor show from that year too... "LSD" was a killer! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, again, they kind of spoiled me for quite a few years. I couldn't quite understand why no line following them could play like them! I thought it was pretty easy after only one year. What a shocker to my ego system it was. . . :o

Jaminbenb
There were VERY few snare lines that were as tight as them! Those guys ate, slept and s#h#a#t# DCI tapes! The only thing close (close, but not quite) was the one snare line that we had at North Hagerstown (but it was only 4 of them) I remember them before a practice jamming the 82 Crossmen drum solo and some old SCV solos! sick stuff!!! Yeah, again, they kind of spoiled me for quite a few years. I couldn't quite understand why no line following them could play like them! I thought it was pretty easy after only one year. What a shocker to my ego system it was. . . :o <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Edited December 3, 2004 by Jaminbenb

JimF-LowBari
OK, I'm not going to wade thru 84 pages and 838 posts to find the end of the "What Years of Westshore Do You Have" sub-thread. Just received a CD of a contest from 1968 (aka the missing DCA year).... Last corps on the CD is Westshoremen Bonnie-Scots..... :)
