JF154283
List the most memorable shows in your opinion I'll start off with the ones I think to be some of the most memorable shows in the past two decades (in no particular order) - Just barely hitting the decade limit for these two (I wasn't even born yet! but these were EPIC shows - I have watched them) (Santa Clara Vanguard '89 - Phantom of the Opera) (Phantom Regiment '89 - New World Symphony) Within many more people's memory: Phantom Regiment '03 - Harmonic Journey Phantom Regiment '06 - Faust Carolina Crown '07 - Triple Crown Carolina Crown '09 - The Grass is Always Greener Cavaliers '06 - MACHINE Cavaliers '02 - Frameworks Blue Devils '07 - Winged Victory Bluecoats '07 - Criminal '09 Personal and Crowd Favorites: Blue Stars - The Factory; Carolina Crown - The Grass is Always Greener; Troopers: Western Side Story Edited November 15, 2009 by JF154283
skajerk
The first 3 that popped into my head... '85 Suncoast- (A Florida Suite) Gotta go with my favorite corps! The first all original show written specifically for them. And what a fine show it was! Fun, fun and more fun!! '88 Suncoast- (Symphonic Dances for the Contemporary Child) Gotta add this show to the mix as well. Incredible show and waaaay beyond DCI's comfort level at the time. '09 SCV- (Ballet For Martha) I think a few years from now people that didn't like this show will finally "get it". Beautiful, understated, powerful, heart stirring, classy... That's the word I'm looking for. This show was simply just pure, unadulterated class. Done the way that only SCV can do it.
