Best DCA Champion of the decade

I chose Empire because having to come back after losing Vince was probably one of the hardest things they had to do ever. The show itself was great but I really feel the sign of a true Champion includes fighting off adversity and challenges to come back and do what they did.

Truer words never spoken. I pulled for HAWTHORNE as they faced the same loss as had Empire, with founder-director Jim Costello checking out of the net after 50+ years at the helm.

If there is, indeed, a "Flagship" drum corps for DCA, (Actually the entire drum corps activity), it is the Caballeros.

All were great corps indeed, however 2009 Bucs are the best I've EVER seen. Seems like the results of the poll will bear that out.

2004 Empire.. No other candidate even remotely considered by me and there were some dam fine ones.

I've thought a lot since posting this....Bucs 09 were amazing. So were brigs 01. Bucs 05 as well.

I went with 09
