7567BC Posted May 5, 2010 Author Share Posted May 5, 2010 Well there you go. No one is quite "done' yet. But all are comfortably on theior way to being "done" so no reason to think anyone is behind. Also "done' is a relative term and refers only tot heir show in whatever form it is in for the first performance. The first performance should be significantly different from the show being performed in Indy. Cleaning notwithstanding. Good luck to ALL corps this year. I've seen Corps that didn't even have their visual show completed in June beat Corps in competition that did have their complete visual show done. ' Saw a name Corps stand n place for the better part of the entire second half of show and beat out corps in the GE Vis. and Vis. Perf. captions. Apparently, the only conclusion we can draw on this was that in the judges opinion the 1st half of their show was so amazing and good that it was better than the entire visual of the Corps that did have a complete show on the field for the early June show. Until we get to the regionals and with complete judging panels and judges can sort things out, having a show " done"even in JUNE is meaningless. Yeah I've seen certain top 5 corps play half their show standing still in June, and still wollop other corps who are presenting complete shows, which is complete BS IMO.
