KyleBernard
What do you do to survive the summer? I remember I got into the habit of utilizing my shirt as a type of turban, it really helped keep the sun off my head
DrinkinOuttaCups
This mainly applies to us fair-skinned folk, but still...sunscreen! Lots and lots and LOTS of sunscreen! Apply at least 15 minutes before you even step outside in the morning. Reapply during water breaks (having spray-on sunscreen makes this especially easy). AmelloGuy
I quote my old visual caption head "You might be one of those people who say 'Hey, I don't burn!' You might not burn, but you DO get skin cancer."

Also use a lip balm that has sun protection-- they are especially vulnerable.
Buick
Ibuprofen, especially for low brass folks like myself. It's like candy.
KyleBernard
Yes! Spray on sunscreen is a godsend! It makes it soooo much easier to reapply.
BlooContraGuy
What do you do to survive the summer?I remember I got into the habit of utilizing my shirt as a type of turban, it really helped keep the sun off my head I bought an aerobed. definitely helped everything. Wear sunscreen (but not too early! Get your VITAMIN D!!), and drink a lot of water. You know... normal stuff. A lot of people bring Gold Bond for... sensitive issues. But I've never had that problem. bmoanhes
Goldbond is your friend. And bringing a spray horn polish makes shining ALOT easier, especially when you have a tour job that take 40 min to complete...
