ohHAIitsNovak
For some reason I don't remember scoring that high in 05 at the first show... I do remember going to Louisville though but in 04. I think that may have been 04. We beat Madison that night and it was a good thing for us. From what I saw, 05 was a year where the first several shows were rained out. When did you march? You're my hero for marching BAC.

TheRegiment
I'm glad to hear that BAC did well. That's a good score for their first time out. I can't wait to see where this goes.
Brigadier80
Best in 5 years! (2005, Louisville, 75.2) Where did that score come from? In 2005 BAC had a score of 65.85 in SC for their first show on 6/22. By 6/29 their score was up to 76. Check From the Pressbox.com

BRASSO
I just got home: show is about 10 minutes from my house. Boston was amazingly entertaining, polished and just a beautiful show from start to finish. I have to say I probably enjoyed their show the most. Bluecoats and Phantom were also both just great--vastly different shows, but thoroughly enjoyable in their own ways. Phantom's color guard was just phenomenal. I don't think they dropped any of their 'bit hit' tosses--overall, a great show from all the corps. Spirit's uniforms were awesome. Crossmen, solid show, but I wished the Metheny tunes were more apparent--it never really sounded like there was a melody. Thanks for the update. BRASSO
Many things are different for this corps especially from a show programming standpoint. Don't even get me started about the scoring aspect in 2005. I think they will show a lot of good progress this year. This was a good score ( 75 ) for Boston tonite in their first show, and within 2.1 pts of Phantom Regiment. Last year, this same night ( 6/26) they finished 6.2 points behind Phantom Regiment, barely broke 70 and yet beat Phantom Regiment by 8 tenths at Finals. This Boston Corps is more talented than last year's Corps, the show is much more demanding and Boston doesn't even have their final closer in. I expect Phantom Regiment to improve more this year too, but this will shape up as an interesting year for sure. Congrats to the Bluecoats on their win tonite. They look to be stronger this year as well. Edited June 27, 2010 by BRASSO
