Tez
Also, for all the categories that Blue Devils lead in the history of DCI..... I believe this is the first time they have more championships under the build-up system than any other corps. I think Cadets always were on top in that category but now BD has more. Under the "build-up" judging system: Cadets have won in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1990, 1993, 1998, 2000, 2005 for a total of 8. Blue Devils have won in 1986, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2010 for a total of 9.
Scerpella
Is that still their official name? What a neat fun fact. Technically the Scouts are "Venture Crew #XXXX" I forgot the actual number. This is an explorer Scout designation apparently.

Lunasparks
Well, it's comforting to know that you'll boo the winner.... but you'll stop short of participating in coordinated slurs and chants. It's good to know you have a least SOME standards of " decency " where you'll apparently draw the line. (haha) It's called being a poor sport. The fact is that ALL of the corps worked their butts off all summer and had an amazing show. It is not okay to boo the kind of hard work the corps do. They are all amazing - so let's celebrate for everyone.

The Other Mike
HMMMMMMM..........lighting...pyrotechnics? No fireworks, back in the early 70's in a small stadium the Boys of 76 ( or someone like them) tried to use fireworks on the back sideline. The guy lighting them kicked over one of the tubes by acctident and BAM....................up the 50 and into the low wall in front of the stands. FUNNY AS HELL to see even though it was a bad situation.
