'90 Bernstein's Mass, done by The Cadets ( part of show) and Blue Knights ( all of show )

'91 City of Angels, done by Madison ( 7th) and Dutch Boy (13th)

'92 Cornish Dances IV, done by both Carolina Crown and Cavaliers

Lots of repeats... I usually love to compare and contrast these selections. It's amazing how different arrangers can come up with a completely different twist to the same source music.

I believe it was either '79 or '80 when both Crossmen and Guardsmen played Tiger of San Pedro....

Both, I think.

Blue Devils and Bluecoats both played 'That Old Black Magic' in 1988. BD's version may be the best horn book ever, played by the best hornline ever. Coats' version is good, but not all-time good like BD's.

'77 - Bridgemen and Phantom both played Maynard Ferguson's version of Vesti La Giuuba (Pagliacci) ... Actually so did the Caballeros for that matter.
