ScoutSop08
I checked my order for my Blu Ray Disc, and it hasn't even been processed. Then I called DCI (I'm sure they love that, lol) and checked to see what's up with them. I was lead to believe the Blu Rays are on back order and DCI hasn't received them yet. Peel Paint
How much faster? Not much. A few days, typically, depending how far you live from Indy and how many people preordered. It's just that there's a point, the way DCI takes preorders, where they switch over from putting new orders at the end of the line behind everybody who preordered to processing the new order immediately. Evidently, that point came last Friday. Meantime, they're still getting the preorders out the door. I say they do it this way not because of inside knowledge, but because most years, a few people who order late like this guy get their orders immediately, ahead of most people who preordered. It's just luck of the draw. And it helps to live near the shipping point (or upgrade to express shipping). If you ordered in July or August, you should have yours within a few days to a week at the most in the continental 48, the way things usually go. Just as CDs come in to DCI separately from DVDs, Blu-Rays probably would as well. I don't know whether this still works, but DCI used to charge your credit card one day before they shipped, so one way to tell when it went out the door was to watch your credit card online.
