BRASSO
If you were able to add one thing (item/instrument/rule/etc.) into drum corps next year what would it be? Price of gas at the pump :......2 bucks a gallon. Edited April 13, 2011 by BRASSO
DeanInChicago
Let's overhaul the flat football field playing surface. The field will be a programmable juke box of 200 choices - no need to schlep any heavy tarps or zip in on the John Deere. Choices include: black sand beach dentist's chair seaside ballroom oil-stained mechanic garage fresh straw blue gelatin hot lava emerald green glass slippery ice gray slush one of those bouncy room moonwalks a Chucky Cheese game pit filled with plastic balls At Tour of Champion events, the audience will pick the playing surface at random at "Is your corps ready?"

NR_Ohiobando
G Bugles are a requirement. In other words... you can use multi-key if you really want to (Bb + G), though it is a requirement that your show include at least 1 person playing a G bugle. danielray
Effective guard equipment, other than swords and guns, that actually make even the smallest lick of sense programmatically. - or - A variety in costuming where everyone doesn't look like they just came from a Star Trek convention. - or - Variation in percussion to where every single piece is not crammed into an arrangement of 5 basses, 3-5 tenors and 7-10 snares (I'll take fuzzy and programmatically relevant over sterile, predictable and forced any day). - or - If corps are already punking out and micing brass solos... we might as well just go all oboes and an 808.
Michael Boo
Tour of Champions corps would base their value added additional entertainment features on Internet memes. I'd love to see who gets stuck with Rebecca Black's "Friday."
