Cedarburg Show 7/3

Why is this whole forum anti glassmen?

Not anti-Glassmen, just excited to see Troop doing well. I have good friends in Glassmen, and I love the competition.

I don't know this as a fact, but I believe the rule for no tarp on a grass field probably went into effect after the 1993 season.

Or, it's just dangerous to have tarp on grass because the marchers can easily get their feet tangled between the tarp and the grass. On turf, it's not an issue.

So, not show-related, but what's up with the street addresses in Cedarburg? The show was at "W68 N611 Evergreen Blvd" and looking at various Cedarburg sites online, I see all the addresses are like that. I've never seen such a system before. Anyone know the history or the system?

Since when did dci.org start using pdf files for recaps? I have not seen that before.

I think the rationale to use the pdf's was to avoid any confusion as to which actual field score( brass, percussion, color guard) was actually being judged with the smaller judging panels. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe this to be the case.

Not anti-Glassmen at all! Like acolli17 said, just enjoying the competition. There are folks who are happy to see Troop scoring at or near G-men's level. That says a lot about Glassmen, IMO. They are a highly consistent competitor, and to be neck and neck with Glassmen right now gives us a partial picture of where this particular Trooper show is in comparison to the field.
