StickTrick
How many corps actually march 150 total members at the end of the season? I know that some of the larger "Top 6" corps get there, but some other smaller groups still compete with them and have half the size. Does anyone know: 1) Which corps march 150 and which ones try to go for a more "attainable" number 2) What is the size of the World Class hornlines? Is 72 pretty much the standard number? corps-mudgeon
Some corps have 80 member hornlines.
wilme861
Most of the top 12 hit 150 members, only ones that don't are those that run out of alternates or have some late season injuries. Most of those corps also have 80 member hornlines.
arno0940
Based on a few shows that I have seen there are many corps marching around 120-130. Glassmen, Colts, Troopers, & Crossmen don't appear to be near 150 when I saw them a couple weeks back.
rosski47
Vanguard seemed small, but that might have just been my imagination.

Ed from Kansas
You could be right. I thought that I heard 84 but don't have an accurate count to confirm. Whatever the number they sure put out some sound.
fsubone
The average hornline seems to be 76, 24/16/24/12 split, but more are moving up to 80, adding four more contras. I know most of the Top 12 is probably at the 150 mark, but I think it does slow a bit towards the Semi-Finalist corps. I think Academy, Crossmen, Glassmen, Colts, and maybe Troopers are close to 150, they all look about the same size, I know that the smallest though is Pioneer, although I wish they could go for an 80 member hornline with a 150 member corps.
