Musicman1084
You know... I didn't think ALL open class corps would choose to compete. I wonder if it's the right call by the directors in some cases, only to see their corps perform for tiny crowds in the morning and score in the 30s-50s potentially. Not hating, just wondering if it's the right way to have those kids end their seasons.
bobchilds
That would be absolutely brutal to judge. Talk about a marathon.
DCISuperfan
What timezone is this in though? Indi is in the eastern time zone which is 3 hours ahead from california, 2 hours ahead from Colorado and an hour ahead from Texas right? I live in Utah, so the broadcast starts at 6:40 in Indi, but here it starts at 4:40 right?
JMS0527
Correct...Utah's 2 hours behind

Kamarag
If you're going to see one drum corps show all year, from start to finish, this is the one to see. Hopefully a lot of folks will get there on time to support all the Open Class corps.

Strongly agree I feel its important to support all the marchers who have given so much to us fans throughout the season Skip the lot for the corps that may be performing for the last time this year at prelims and give it up for them, they deserve it my personal thanks to all the marchers, I'll be cheering you on from the stands
Kamarag
Not just brutal, its impossible. It's not impossible. DCI has actually made it much easier breaking the show up with an intermission every eight or nine corps. Judging that many groups isn't as hard as you'd think. The challenging part will be ranking and rating. Numbers management skills are going to be key. Hopefully, the corps below the top 12 won't get low numbers like they normally have. The fun part is making the calls around 20-30. Getting the right 25 corps in place for Friday is actually more important than what goes on in 1-4. BOBSMYTH
The Thursday show is one of the best values in drum corps. A ticket for the best seat is $55 to see it all live. Even adding in the ticketmaster fees on top of that- it is only about $1.50 per corps. That is a huge bargain, IMHO.
