madalumni
Don't shoot me, but I always loved BD's "Tommy" show. The horns were just awesome all show long, particularly during that ending. Agree. There were so many great horn parts throughout that show. One of my favorites was the "jazzy" Baritone feature before the drum solo!

They did pretty well competitively as well!
flammaster
Club Blue: A Gangster Chronicle Yep one of my all time favorites! Just wish the 91 corps had a drumline that good.

perc2100
Phantom should redo 2008! What a classic show! Yes. In fact, they should ONLY play that show every single year: let's stop trying to do new things and just continue to do retread shows (it did work really well for SCV 05 when they brought back music from one of their greatest shows ever). G-Rott
Hmmm yeah, I wonder if any corps have done that song? Madison 73, 74, 75, 76..I forget exactly which year(s)...but screamers they had! Does my 1973 High School Marching band count? We enjoyed playing it much... Tim K
Where do I begin? I'd love to see SCV's Phantom either 88 or 89 Garfield's 1980 show: one of my favorite feel good shows of all time. Sky Rider's 1988 "Sound of Music" Phantom's 1991 show from the world of opera Boston Crusaders 1977 or 1978. Crown's "Rach Star." I know it was sonly last year, but I really enjoyed that show. If we can resurrect shows, everyone talks about 27th's 1971 show. Took place a little before I started following drum corps. I'd also love to see either 1980 or 81 again. I'd also love to see North Star again. Edited January 7, 2012 by Tim K
