Are there any tuba spots left in WC?

Recommended Posts

I am not bashing by any means, but I had some friends very close to me audition for crown, and they said that they didn't like it. So Im going to take their word for it. And yes Mr Boo was correct, I do live in Columbia, SC. I contacted crossmen and teal, I am currently waiting for replies. I sent troopers videos, but they said heavy guys like me would get hurt so they turned me away. It's not looking good right now, but this is only a small part of the battle. Thanks for all of your suggestions guys. (and the occasional gal)

How about the Atlanta CV or Carolina Gold, both DCA corps?

Sometimes you're the chicken and sometimes you're the egg. You'll see vets at auditions who you might think are the boss rooster in the barnyard, but don't take that the wrong way or let it intimidate you. They just have more self-confidence because they've been there before. I never saw a chicken in my life that wasn't hatched from an egg.

Huh...tell me whut?

Mike forgot Alliance too.

Lots of junior and all age options to choose from, and as far as the traveling, there are LOTS of folks going all different directions around here headed for a drum corps somewhere. so opportunities for carpooling. And airfares are very affordable out of the four SC airports and especially out of the Charlotte hub.

I'm most likely going to condition harder and longer, and wait until late April to ask for spots.

What ever else you do don't cut yourself. Too many kids have done that over the years and it's heartbreaking. I knew a lieutenant fresh out of West Point at one time who had a CO that hated him, then the CO was transferred and the new CO loved him. You never know.
